MM is an ode to unpredictable nature of wine, the ups and downs of the wines life and unknown path its takes to create a product with intrigue and character. We challenge people to think differently about wine, to educate about wine and to have heaps of bloody fun with wine!
Moonlight Mile was born on the eve of lockdown, uncertainty in the air if the grapes could come off the vine let alone processed into wine. No pickers available, the only option was for Monty to drive to Nelson after a long day processing fruit in Marlborough to pick late at night under a small sliver of new moonlight, alone, through dew ridden vines, about a mile long.

The brains (and gorgeous face) behind the MM. Ungodly hours thinking about it, dreaming of it and putting some serious hard graft into making our first vintage. Cheers Monty
KIT CLINTON-BAKER
Overly enthusiastic alcohol guy. A trained brewer and distiller, looking for his favourite new thing. After spending a vintage in Burgundy with Monty, he couldn’t shy past the opportunity to immerse himself in wine.
